Your day begins with Reformer Pilates, steady, breath led and designed to help you feel strong and supported in your body. Movement that opens space not just in your muscles but in your mind.

Later, a guided breathwork session invites you to slow down even more. With simple techniques and quiet focus, you shift from doing to being. You begin to feel the noise drop away.

Afternoons are yours to spend however you need resting by the fire, journaling with a warm drink, or simply allowing yourself to do nothing at all.

In the evening, you gather in the kitchen or around the table, cooking something seasonal and simple, creating with your hands, and remembering how good it feels to just be present.

This is Breathe and Begin. A quiet start to the year, away from the noise. A reset that feels real. A chance to return to yourself with more clarity, ease and intention.

Why This Retreat?

You do not need to be at a breaking point to deserve rest. You do not need to have big plans to deserve space. This retreat is your reminder that beginning again can be soft, simple, and entirely your own.

What’s Included:

Day 1 – Arrival & Exhale

5:00 PM — Check In and Welcome Refreshments
Arrive and take a breath. Step into a slower rhythm with light seasonal bites and warm drinks. Let the stillness of January invite you to unwind.

5:30 PM — Journaling and Quiet Gathering
Settle in with pen and paper. A gentle space to pause reflect and start to let the outside world fade. No pressure just time to arrive.

5:45 PM — Gentle Reformer Pilates
A slow breath led session to release tension and ground your body. Movement to help you shift from travel mode to true rest.

7:30 PM — Winter Dinner and Wind Down
Share a nourishing evening meal crafted from seasonal local ingredients. Warm dishes soft conversation and the comfort of starting the year with ease.

Day 2 – Move, Breathe, Restore

8:00 AM — Slow Winter Breakfast
Ease into the morning with warm oats seasonal fruit homemade granola and fresh coffee. A quiet nourishing start to the day.

9:30 AM — Reformer Pilates Root and Rise
A steady breath led session to ground your energy open your body and create space. Movement that sets a calm clear rhythm for the day ahead.

11:30 AM — Breathwork and Optional Ice Bath
Learn simple tools to move from stress into calm presence. For those who wish take a cold plunge to reconnect with strength and stillness.

1:00 PM — Seasonal Lunch
A winter table of roasted vegetables warming grains and fresh herbs. Shared over relaxed conversation in good company.

3:00 PM — Rest and Restore Massages Available
This is your time. Curl up with a journal enjoy a massage or simply rest by the fire. Let the afternoon be as quiet or spacious as you need.

5:30 PM — Reformer Pilates Restore and Sound Bath
End the day with slow supportive movement to release and reset. Then settle into stillness with a sound bath designed for deep rest.

7:30 PM — Dinner by the Fire
A cozy evening meal made with fresh local ingredients. Good food warm drinks and soft conversation to close the day with ease.

Day 3 – Finding Calm & Incredible Food

8:00 AM — Leisurely Winter Breakfast
Ease into the morning with warm bowls baked fruit homemade granola and slow sips of coffee. Take your time and enjoy the quiet of the season.

9:30 AM — Reformer Pilates Strength and Space
A steady uplifting session to build strength and open space in your body. Movement to help you feel energised centred and ready for the day ahead.

11:00 AM — Self Massage and Lymphatic Release workshop

Learn simple yet powerful techniques to release tension in the body

1:00 PM — Long Lunch at the Table
Gather for a generous meal of local winter produce served in good company. Rich warming flavours and easy conversation to nourish and restore.

3:30 PM — Time for You
Curl up with your journal rest quietly or enjoy a massage in a peaceful space. Let this time be yours with no expectations and no rush.

5:30 PM — Reformer Pilates Stretch Relax and Meditation
Unwind with soft spacious movement followed by a calming meditation to bring your breath and body into full stillness.

7:30 PM — Dinner by Candlelight
Close the day with a slow thoughtful meal. Seasonal dishes shared around the table with warmth ease and gentle connection.

Day 4 – Depart Restored

8:00 AM — Quiet Winter Breakfast
Start the morning with a simple nourishing spread of warm oats fresh eggs creamy yogurt and seasonal fruit. A soft calm beginning to your final day.

8:30 AM — Reformer Pilates Stretch and Release
A gentle breath led session to ease tension and ground your body. A final moment of movement before you return to daily life.

9:45 AM — Closing Circle
Come together one last time to reflect share and take in the stillness before you go. A quiet way to mark the end of your time here.

10:00 AM — Departure
Leave feeling rested clear and ready to move forward with more space and ease in your everyday life.

If your flight is later you are welcome to join us for an optional visit to Loulé. Wander peaceful streets enjoy a warm drink and take in the local rhythm before you say goodbye. A simple unhurried end to your January retreat.

  • You can easily reach the retreat by taxi or private transfer. We’re happy to assist you with arranging transport—just let us know.

  • Cancellation Policy

    • If you cancel 60 days or more before the retreat start date, your deposit and any payments made are non-refundable.

    • If you cancel within 60 days of the retreat start date, we are unable to offer a refund as all bookings will have been finalised.

    However, if you’re unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your spot to someone else. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can assist with the process.

With over 12 years of experience as a certified Pilates instructor and my background as a Menopause Coach, I understand the challenges of feeling stretched thin, overwhelmed, or disconnected from your own needs.

I’m here to guide you every step of the way, providing expert support and a nurturing environment where you can recharge, feel stronger, and reconnect with yourself.
